About the YMCA of the Rockies

Whatever your mission, find your inspiration at YMCA of the Rockies. Our two beautiful locations in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado provide the perfect combination of updated facilities, retreat cabins, lodge rooms and team building activities connecting you with the outdoors.

YMCA of the Rockies

YMCA of the Rockies is a diverse charitable organization dedicated to changing lives through building and strengthening relationships. This commitment, shared by guests, staff, volunteers and donors is focused on youth development, healthy living and fostering social responsibility.

There are many reasons that guests choose to stay at one of YMCA of the Rockies’ locations. Every year, we host and serve more than 800 family reunions and 1,200 conferences. Estes Park Center can host as many as 5,032 guests and Snow Mountain Ranch can host as many as 1,640 guests. Guests are inspired by our beautiful mountain views, fresh mountain air and endless recreational possibilities. Our wholesome Christian environment allows for quality time with co-workers, family and friends to become our guests’ main focus.

To promote youth development, YMCA of the Rockies offers day camp and overnight programs that enable kids to learn, grow and play together. While kids are at camp, parents have time to themselves and kids have the opportunity to create healthy relationships with their counselors and peers in a supportive and nurturing atmosphere.

To promote healthy living, YMCA of the Rockies offers miles and miles of hiking, biking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails on our properties. Adventure programming, sports facilities, outdoor education and youth conferences all add to our youth development focus. The Program Departments’ varied offerings include group and family activities to engage guests’ entire spirit, mind and body.

To promote social responsibility, YMCA of the Rockies is committed to diversity and respect for all people by utilizing more than 70,000 volunteer hours every year, hosting more than 6,000 outdoor education students to instill in them stewardship of our earth, promoting global awareness through the international trainee program and supporting the Chaplains Departments’ religious education programming for youth and adults. Additionally, YMCA of the Rockies endeavors to operate its centers in an earth-friendly fashion with active recycling programs, sustainable architecture in new construction and active natural resource management plans.
